Aku pergi registered master today. Alone! Hmm.... tak jauh pun. Half and hour only. Dalam sakit-sakit mata gagah gak le dengar taklimat. From 8am till 6pm. Ayoh, sungguh lama sampai aku pun dah nak tertidur-tidur. Masa buat matric card, haruslah mata aku nih menyepet sebelah. Malas nak pakai sunglasses kang tertonjol aku di situ.
Ok, from what Prof. Dekan explained just now, we are the last batch yang buat master with 36 credit hours. Next semester onwards, those who plan to do master will need to complete minimum 42 credit hours. I heard that this applied to other uni as well.
One more, i am in dilemma. I'm doing master mod A (coursework + final project), but according to Prof Dekan, sesapa yang amik mod A susah nak apply PHD and he urges us to switch to Mod B which is coursework and dissertation. Iyelah buat projek in mod A carry 6 credit hours meanwhile mod B, dissertation is 18 credit hours. Less class more focus to dissertation. Hmmm, PHD is fully research. Prof pesan kecualilah we all nak stop sampai master aje than bolehlah teruskan mod A. what say you????
Seronok juga kelas master ni. Leturer2 semua treat us like an adult. Tak macam masa undergraduate dulu, pandang sebelah mata pun tak heran. So, lepas ni my class will be Friday and Saturday. Bersilat le jawabnya. By right, i have to stay at the campus laaaa jumaat sabtu....
Haru lagiler rumah tangga aku nih....

Prof Dekan tu was rite. Kalau memang nak stop kat master, ok la amik mod A. Tapi kalau nak proceed ke PhD, better amik mod B.
Pengalaman aku , laki aku n kwn2 aku, memang sgt penting master tu adalah master by research kalau nak sambung PhD sebab PhD is all about research ( dan maybe kene amik a few classes but at the end of the day, only research matters).
Some of the unis, abroad especially, memang requirement utk buat PhD is master degree mesti la by research. Kalau tak, kene buat master by research dulu, baru bole apply for PhD. So mcm buang masa la kan, kene buat master sampai 2 kali.
Lagi satu, kalau nak wat PhD, having a master degree by research will help u in terms of research skill. And lebih senang sebab ko leh extend keje research masa master ke phd. Kalau tak, masa PhD kene start everything from scratch, yg mana amat la mencabar...

Hmm, really appreciate ur thoughts. aku pun terfikir pasal hal ni but again tataulah do i still have the strength and guts to go through all this.
